Weeeellllll I'm sick.
Let me tell you WHY I am sick. -___-

Soooo I am kind of stressed. hahah And I think that has dropped my immune
system. I think it's mostly because we have an extra zone conference coming up
because a general authority (Elder Perkins) is coming to the mission and so it
has to be a really nice zone conference. (They are anyway) But because we're
leaders we have a few more responsibilities that I feel like I am not
keeping well enough track of. Merp.
AND let's add this icing on the cake. Sister Creager and Sister Troutner
are in charge of finding a musical number for the conference. Well, we had
talked to the zone leaders and our district leader about them doing a singing
performance and they said they could pull it together, but turns out there
aren't enough elders who can sing parts. SOOOOoooo Elder Gibb and Sister
Creager are doing a Violin and Piano performance that we need to whip together.
MERP! And on top of that the mission is putting a much heavier focus on
reaching certain standards and goals, so we had to bust out a lot of finding to
reach them.
So yeah. I'm unnecessarily stressing myself out. haha And there's more than those things, but I won't sit and list them all right now because that's just negative. hahah And who wants that? ;]

But let's focus on the bright side. Guess who went to Prince Edward Island
this past week?!?! =D =D
It was pretty cool! And actually, what made it great really wasn't all the fact that I was in P.E.I. SOOooooo I went there Friday night and near the end of the night I get a call to the Charlottetown sister phone from the New Glasgow sisters (The other sisters we work with) And they called to tell me that HEIDI IS BACK ON DATE!!!! Do you remember Heidi?! Heidi! She has her son, Matthew, Sister Hoy and I found her and taught her while we were in New Glasgow! HEIDI! And when I went back to New Glasgow I had her meet up with us and introduced her to the missionaries and they have started teaching her again. And now she is on date! And I was talking to her on facebook (I can talk to certain people in mission boundaries) and she said that she feels like this time is for real. She thinks she really will do it. I am SO happy! It made me think of Alma 31:34-35. It's so good. =]

So then, the next morning Sister Barfuss and I went contacting at a farmers
market. It was the coolest market I have ever been to on my mission! AND get
this! While we're walking around, I see a cute Asian couple. And everyone
already knows what I'm thinking. haha So I walk up to try to hear any words they
say to see where they are from. I couldn't catch any because it was so loud in
there. So I got the feeling, you should ask them where they're from. So I did,
and they said Japan. My response was "oh really?" but in Japanese and they were
SO surprised! I ended up talking to them for like 10-15 minutes ALL in
Japanese. It was great! =] And we switched emails!! It was so fun! I gave
them a Mormon.org card that had my email on it and then later when we were
leaving I felt bad because before leaving the apartment that day I had had the
feeling to bring the Japanese Book of Mormon in my bag. I brushed it off
because I thought, well, who will I actually give this to? So as we were
leaving I decided to run back and find them and offer them a Book of Mormon, and
if they wanted it, we would run back to the apartment. I went back and asked
them and they weren't interested, but I felt a lot better knowing I asked them.
It was GREAT!! AH! It was a good day. Right before we crossed the bridge to
go back to the main land we stopped and got Cow's ice cream and I got some
Anne's Chocolates too. =] It was a great time in P.E.I!
As for everything else here, it has been going just fine. Minus the mountain of things to remember that I have to do. hahah
We had another lesson with Minori yesterday. We watched Finding Faith in Christ with her and I gave her a Japanese Book of Mormon.
The mom of the family she's staying with though is worried and feels like I'm pushing her into this. It kinda made me feel bad because I don't have to teach her. I can talk to her a lot easier actually when I'm not teaching her. But, she did ASK to be taught. And she restated that in English this time too. So yeah. I mean, if it bothers her so much, we just won't teach her. Because I can go over there and talk to her in Japanese about non-gospel things and have a much more fluid conversation than if I try to teach her. Because honestly, I don't know gospel terms like I do every day terms. So yeah. Another stress I had this week.
Something else, I try to be very open and honest with how I am doing and feeling. This is because I find that this way you guys know what's actually going on with me.
Missionary work is hard. But I love it. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I actually would much rather be here than home right now because I know that what I am experiencing is the best thing for me. It makes me happy. =] I love my mission. <3

To get to P.E.I it's a 10 minute drive over the ocean on this man-made
bridge. It's the coolest thing. =]
