PDay update 7/13/15

Hey everyone!
I got a lot of emails today so I can't send a huge mass email!  I have 3 main things to tell you about though!

1. I am being transferred to Amherst, Nova Scotia to serve with Sister Mangleson as a Sister Training Leader!  Whoa!!! I still don't believe it!  I didn't want to leave Presque Isle, but I go where I'm called! =]  And this will be good. =]  I will be missing a baptism though... I leave Thursday and it's on Saturday.  Kristina has been doing SO well! =D

2.  I performed this Sunday in sacrament meeting.  Elder Thompson and I figured out a song by ear and played it.  He doesn't play piano, but whoa he did great. =]  We played Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing.  =]

3.  We rushed someone to the E.R on Wednesday.   We usually car-pool to district meetings to save on miles and also there is a member that lives WAY out in our area.  So we decided to go visit them.  Well, while there he said that his face felt numb and tingley.  So the elders gave him a blessing.  They it got worse and so he called a doctor to talk to them about it and he had to sit down while on the phone.  His wife and three young kids only had this van that is almost broke down and she had to wrangle her kids our from the pool and get them ready and dressed, and we needed to get him to the hospital FAST.  So we all piled into our car and Sister Powell went about 110 most of the way there.  When we would get stuck behind a car she would just honk the horn non stop until they moved.  It was pretty scary cuz while in the car his whole body was going numb and his words were slurring and e was having a hard time breathing.  Now and then he would thrash out and then come back.  We called an ambulance to meet us on the way there(The nearest hospital was 30 minutes away.)  but they NEVER got to us!  When we pulled up the the hospital he fully siezed and they almost couldn't even get him into a wheelchair.  When he family got there I made origami birds with the boys and tried to help them be calm.  They let him leave the hospital not long after though and told him that he didn't have a siezure and that it was just stress. -____- my foot it was stress!  ha anyway.  The crazy stories never end in Presque Isle.  hahaha

Sorry that I don't have much time this week.  I love you all!
