PDay update 11/24/14
Hey everyone!!
This week went by pretty quickly!  Are you all excited for American Thanksgiving that's coming up?  I most likely will not be celebrating that this year, but I did get a Canadian Thanksgiving. =]  So my week!

Tues Nov 18- So, I got sick on Monday and was pretty sick today.  Darn cold.
We had a lesson with Howard and we brought a member with us.  It was a really good lesson.  Howard is so funny because he always tells us that we're "Heaven bound" and jokes that he's not.  He also always tells us he doesn't want to "defer our faith".  We promise him he won't. haha It was a great lesson and he finally opened up to us and asked us some questions he had.  They were personal so I won't say what they were.  But he is such a great guy!  I hope he continues to want to learn and hopefully comes to church! =] We also met with a less active that we met last week who is so nice!  Her name is Joyce and she joined when she was 15 but hasn't been very active ever.  She made us sandwiches and gave us chicken and chips (fries).  She is SO nice!  Ah, we love her. =]    We also saw another less active whose name is Dwayne.  Dwayne is awesome haha He is so nice and friendly, but he hasn't come to church in a while because he has intense anxiety.  I know I was sent to him for a reason, because I can relate to him in a way that no one else can.  I understand his struggle and he was really appreciative of that.  We had a good long lesson and I shared with him what fighting anxiety is like for me.  So I gave him some suggestions to help him ease back into church.  I hope it works out.
Wed Nov 19-WHOO this day was special! haha So we drove to Truro for District meeting and New Glasgow is fine, but Truro got hit with an intense snow blizzard.  I am so grateful that Sister Hoy was driving because out of all of us, she is the most experienced in snow and also did a fabulous job.  She's smart about it and that's what makes her so good.  So we were pulling off of the exit and there was a car that slid off the road, and the elders (they rode with us) got out and asked if they needed help and the lady asked if we could take her to the hospital.  We said we could so she hopped in the back (awkwardly with the elders hahahaha) and we start off to the hospital.  Well, turns out she was ok but she was on her way to an appointment anyway and just needed to get there. But we talked to her and got to know her and her name is Maria and she is from Austria. (From Angelica's mom: I wonder if Angelica thought of Sound of Music when she met her? LOL ;) She is super nice and she got teary eyed when she thanked us.  POTENTIAL INVESTIGATOR! hahah =]  She's so great!  =]  We were meant to take her.  All missionaries got where they needed safely.  That's always good.=] We also had a companionship skype with President.  It was good.  It was helpful for us and it reminded me of things to help improve the work.  Then we went to Truro AGAIN for exchanges! haha I stayed in New Glasgow with Sister Howell.  She is so nice.  =]  They also delivered a letter from Buddy to me. =]  Yay!
Thurs Nov 20- We got a lot of great missionary work done this day.  We were able to get SEVEN potentials and visit a few members as well.  It was a really good day and Sister Howell is really nice.  I enjoyed that learning experience! =]  Then we exchanged back and Sister Turner got us all frosties.  Mmm =]
Fri Nov 21- Hm.  This day wasn't the best.  For a lot of reasons.  Mostly because both Sis H and I were having a rough day.  MISSION LIFE! hahaha =]  But it was good because we both helped each other out.  She was feeling pretty down on herself and I was a little homesick'ish.  But it's amazing to see how Heavenly Father helps us out.  It's all good now! =]  If there weren't bad days we wouldn't understand the good ones!  2 Nephi 2:23-25.
Sat Nov 22- We had a lot of lessons set up with the potentials Sister Howell and I got, but they all fell through.  Sadness.  But it's all good.  We were able to knock and get out posters for the Christmas Nativity that will be here at the church.  They have over 300 nativity sets that they are putting on display!   SO PRETTY!  I am so excited to see it all finished and done.
Sun Nov 23- Church was great.  We ended up teaching Young Women's last minute haha.  That was an adventure.  But it went pretty well.  I was surprised.  We were hoping that Theresa would come today, but she had something else going on that she went to.  Sad.  We were able to visit a lot of members though.  Sister Wilson who is at Ivy's Terrace nursing home.  She is the sweetest lady.  She has MS and so that's why she's there.  She's really smart and is always smiling.  (No seriously she's great!)  And we saw Sister Odo.  She's 91 years old and the sweetest thing. haha =]  As well we got to see Tasha and her two little girls.  And also Sister Rushton.  Good day. =]
Today-  Hahaha oh my goodness Sis H and I were laughing so hard this morning. haha We were trying to role-play but we kept laughing. haha We also took some fun pictures this morning.  It was a good start to the day! I'm hoping to snag the pictures we took from off her camera to send to you all.  The church got new computers and they work really well!  I'm hoping pictures send a lot faster now.  Later on a member from Wolfville is coming to lunch with us!  We both served there so it's awesome!  And then we have shopping and such.  Then we have dinner with a Less Active at 5 and we're going knocking 6-7:30.  Then we're going to go see Tasha again.  Mission life!!! hahaha =]
Well, I love you all!!  THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!  Hope you've had a really great week!

Sister Creager
