PDay update 12/22/14
This was a very exciting day because we were setting up and planning everything for our Video Chat on Christmas.

Here is her mass email....

Hi everyone!!

Alright, going to jump right into my week. =]

Tues Dec 16- Um, not much happened that was super eventful. hahah (Isn't this a great start to my email? haha) But we were able to practice the song that we performed in sacrament.  And we also met with a less active's daughter who is a non-member and she is awesome!  And I am going to see her tomorrow and teach her Japanese AND she said we could talk about missionary stuff!! =D  WHOO! =]

Wed Dec 17- Today we helped Sister Macdonald set up her Christmas tree.  It was so much fun and I'm really glad we did that because apparently putting up the tree stresses her out. haha She's the cutest little old lady that is so sweet and she like is always happy and calm.  And something with the lights was kind of wrong and she like got really upset but her version of upset is like, "Oh golly.  This is terrible!  My oh my, what to do!" hahaha SHE'S ADORABLE =D  We also had lessons with Wanda and Heidi.  Heidi's lesson went really well I think.  We invited her to baptism and she said that she has already been baptized and it's scary when that happens because you pretty much have to tell them that their baptism was not valid.  But the spirit was there and I think we both explained it really well how this is the only true church with the authority to baptize.  And yeah.  Good lesson.  She's a sweetheart! =]

Thurs Dec 18- Oh woops, we actually helped Sister Macdonald with her tree on this day, and we just had a member visit with her the day before. haha I'm too lazy to move that around.   We also went to Antigonish today.  It's part of our area but it's 45 minutes away.  Yeah. haha (We also have a part of our area that is an hour and a half away.  Lots of less actives there.  Can't imagine why.) But like, no one was home. haha Darn.

Fri Dec 19- Weekly Planning day! Woooo.  The only eventful things that happened today were going to the Rector's for dinner and practicing for the song.  The Rector family is so nice and I love them!  AND Sister Rector gave us PICKLES on Sunday.  DILL PICKLES!! DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO FIND DILL HERE IN NOVA SCOTIA?! HARD!  I love her. =]   For practice we ended up changing the song all together and taking out the violin part.  Sad, I know.  And they made me sing. -_-  Not only did they make me sing, but I sang the melody in a quartet.  I'M NOT A SINGER!  IT WAS SCARY!!  But it was fun. =]

Sat Dec 20- Um.  nothing super eventful this day either. haha more song practice though. =]  Also, Sis H hasn't been feeling too great cuz she has a cold and so I made some calls to our investigators and let her sleep and when I called Wanda she had a lot of questions about the Book of Mormon.  I enjoyed answering (to the best of my ability) all of her questions.  =]  But yeah.  Normal missionary day.  Street contacting, former finding, knocking, etc.  OH!  While we were at the church someone called the church phone and I was like, "uh, do we get that?" so I answered it and it was this guy named Sean and he said he had been asking everywhere for help this Christmas and that he has two kids and that some people referred us to be able to help him.  So we took down his number and stuff.  Lucky we were at the church to get his call.

Sun Dec 21-Church was amazing!  The performance sounded great and it was awesome with all of us doing parts for the song.  We sang Away in a Manger.  Sis H and I sang the first verse together and I sang Soprano and she sang Alto.  Then the Elders sang the second verse and did the same thing, and then we all sang the last verse and I sang the sopranao (melody) and the others did all the other random singy parts stuff that I don't understand. =] haha  And also, that Sean guy and his 9 year old daughter came to church!!!  They stayed for like 2 hours and they were really nice!!  I hope we get to teach him! =]  Also, my mom sent me a book that opens up into a Christmas tree and we decorated it with Sister Wilson.  She is a member who lives in nursing home because she has M.S.  She's mentally all there, but she can't live on her own anymore.  And her room flooded so they moved her to a temporary one and they won't allow her to decorate.  So we decorated the tree with her and it is currently at her place for this Christmas season. =] I'm glad we did that.  AND the branch gave the missionaries a TON of FOOD!!!  Oh my goodness.  I will send the pictures to my mom to post.  They are so amazing!!  Also, we got to go caroling with the branch.  That was a lot of fun!  =]  I enjoyed it a lot.  And it wasn't too cold last night either.

Mon Dec 22-  Today we went shopping for a bunch of things.  We went shopping for a toilet handle because ours broke and for a while there we had to reach our hands into the back of the toilet and yank the chain and it was so gross.  Then we tied a string to it and have been using that.  We were so happy when we put the string on there!   It got to the point that we didn't even want to go to the bathroom cuz we knew we would be reaching into the toilet. hahaha It was so bad. hahaha   Also, we got the elders a bunch of these funny presents for Christmas from the dollar store. hahaha It's going to be so funny. =]    We spent a lot of time shopping today.  After emailing we are going to play basketball/volleyball in the gym! =]  I'm so happy to be in workout clothes right now. haha Skirts are nice and all, but I miss PANTS! haha anyway.  Later tonight we are going to Tracy's house for dinner and then out to Joyce's house to help her decorate her tree.  =]   We decorate a lot of trees with people. hahah =]   So yeah.  Busy this Christmas season!

I'm excited to see my family on Christmas day!  You have no idea how excited I am.  It will be SO nice. =]  It still doesn't feel real that I will get to see them. haha But it will be great!   I love being a missionary and I really love it here in Nova Scotia.  People are so funny.  It's cold here, but not like terrible, and people always ask me, "Oh!  You're from Utah?  Do they get snow there?" hahahahaha Um actually, we're known for our skiing. lol  I check the weather and compare home and here and they are usually the same.  So I'm glad I'm in Nova Scotia.  Other places in the mission are a lot colder right now.

Well, I hope you have a Merry Christmas!!  Read Luke chapter 2!! =D  And watch He is the Gift on christmas.mormon.org =]

Sister Creager

She said they had "funny" fruit there she wanted to try. Haha, she did not realize we have that funny fruit here too :)

Her Aunt Debbie sent her a package with Ham and pickles in it.  Her favorite foods.

Her companion taught her how to make an elephant out of an orange.
