Getting her mission call:
After her waiting a long time to be able to start her papers, waiting to send her papers in, waiting for it to come in the mail, then waiting for her dad to come home, she finally got to open her call on Sunday May 4, 2014.  We had a gathering at her Aunt Debbie's and Uncle Warren's house with family and close friends.  We even had a couple of her friends from Japan and her cousin Amanda on Skype so they could hear where she was going.  So many expected she would be called to Japan since she fluently knows the language.  But instead she was Called to Serve in Atlantic Canada!  She was so very excited to get her calling and she and I  both know that is the perfect place for her to go.  She loves winter and snow which is why I picked the background and title I did for this blog.  Plus, the title is an Owl City song and she loves Owl City :)  But more importantly she loves the Gospel and she really wanted to go teach others that may be interested.  What a wonderful opportunity she is going to have! 

I will be posting on here often with pictures and updates from her mission.  And she would LOVE to hear from you too!  She loves getting letters and she would even love packages :)
